Successful on the outside but struggling in silence?
You're not alone. 75% of professionals who struggle with alcohol maintain high-powered careers while battling private chaos.
The nightly glass of wine to unwind has turned into a bottle (or more), and the morning meetings are getting harder to manage...
While traditional recovery programs provide a foundation, high-powered individuals often need personalized support that works with their demanding lifestyle.
Discrete, professional coaching offers the individualized accountability and strategies needed to maintain both your career momentum and your sobriety.
Wondering if your 'work hard, play harder' lifestyle is sustainable?
Many young professionals are questioning if their social drinking has crossed an invisible line.
When Sunday "hangxiety" extends into Wednesday and 'just one drink' never ends with one drink...
Creating a vibrant, social life without alcohol and substances is possible with the right support, tools, and guidance.
Unlike traditional recovery programs, our personalized coaching helps you navigate your specific challenges - from dating to networking to finding your tribe - while building a fulfilling sober lifestyle.
Feeling trapped in a cycle of treatment attempts and relapses?
Despite having access to the best care and resources, many individuals find themselves unable to maintain lasting change.
When nothing ever feels like enough...
Breaking free from the treatment cycle requires more than just another program.
Comprehensive recovery coaching addresses the whole picture - from life skills to family dynamics to spirituality- providing the consistent, integrated support needed for lasting change.
Are you stressed, juggling too much, and relying on alcohol or substances to provide a little relief?
Many outwardly high-functioning individuals quietly use substances to cope with the relentless pressure of perfection.
When your 'go-to stress relief' starts taking more than it gives, it’s time to reclaim your balance, and thrive without the weight holding you down...
Personalized coaching addresses this from the inside out - creating simple yet powerful habits that build longevity in your recovery.
...and I'm so happy you're here.
Coaching is an opportunity for you to make radical changes in a short period of time. My goal is to guide you towards getting big results quickly.
As a certified alcohol and drug clinician, recovery coach, and radical optimist, my life’s purpose is to help people get what they want at the deepest levels.
The first step to getting what you want, is knowing what you want. Knowing what you want requires clarity. Clarity that comes from a sober mind.
My coaching is informed by 10+ years as a clinician and professional in the substance use, addiction, eating disorder, trauma, and mental health field. I am a certified alcohol and drug counselor (CADC) and have helped countless individuals transform their lives, achieve lasting sobriety, and find authentic joy and peace.
I am also a person in long-term recovery who embraces sobriety with fun, laughter, connection and spirituality. I use tailored strategies to guide my clients through the challenges and celebrations of early and long-term sobriety.
With a deep understanding of the nuanced, complex nature of substance abuse and mental health, I am the go-to coach for those seeking to live freely - with no attachments to the addictive cycle.
What Sets Me Apart...
is my comprehensive, whole-person approach to recovery, built on over a decade of specialized
experience in addiction, mental, and behavioral health.
My extensive background working with substance use disorders, eating disorders, trauma, and process addictions has taught me that true healing requires looking at the complete picture.
When a client struggles with persistent cravings, for instance, I investigate everything from nutrition and sleep patterns to relationships and environment.
This integrated approach allows
me to identify subtle connections others might miss. This allows us to create highly personalized coaching plans, including collaborating with specialists like therapists, functional nutritionists, case managers, and psychiatrists.
By addressing all dimensions of wellness simultaneously, we create lasting transformation rather than temporary fixes.

PILLARS OF THE PROGRAM
Honesty & Transparency
Empowerment
Connection
Guided Action
Creative Support
HONESTY & TRANSPARENCY
I coach you on how to do this. This tool alone will produce big results quickly. It sounds scary, but I make it fun!
EMPOWERMENT
Step-by-step, I help you take action and support you during the process.
Instead of mustering up the willpower (that may or may not arrive), we do it together, building you up in the process and empowering you with confidence one achievement at a time.
CONNECTION
We develop a framework for creating connection and a sober support system, building to your recovery crew one person at a time.
We also work on activating your new support system and engaging in ways that feel fun and doable to you.
GUIDED ACTION
Through daily communication, personalized guidance, and embracing a spiritual mindset, I help you translate recovery concepts into concrete actions that build your confidence and create lasting change in your life.
Together we'll develop and practice the exact tools, skills, and routines that work for YOU - transforming abstract ideas about sobriety into a practical roadmap for achieving your unique vision of recovery.
CREATIVE SUPPORT
"We don't know what we don't know." You may not even know what kind of support you need.
During this process, you will accomplish tasks (big and small) that have been pushed to the side again, and again, and again. I use a variety of creative approaches to help you with every part of your life - not just sobriety.
We continuously assess and work together to determine what kind of support you need and the best way for you to get it.

"True transformation isn't about forcing new behaviors -
it's about understanding and activating your deepest drivers, aligning with a spiritual source, taking a little action, and watching miracles unfold around you.”
By combining cutting-edge recovery tools with ancient and contemporary spiritual wisdom,
this revolutionary approach teaches you
how to tap into universal energy
to accelerate transformation 1000x faster than willpower alone.
You'll learn not just how to stay sober, but how to create a powerful life with the full force of the universe behind you.
Change that starts at the source,
not the surface.
Most recovery programs focus on changing behaviors. The Deep Driver System™ goes to the source - those fundamental feelings and internal motivations that fuel everything you do.
By understanding and working with your deep drivers, transformation becomes natural rather than forced. Sustainable transformation is created by aligning your actions with your authentic desires.
Imagine having a direct line to infinite universal support - stronger than any craving, far more reliable than willpower, and available 24/7.
That's the Infinite Access Method!
Think of it as your spiritual WiFi - a constant connection to power that never drops signal, never runs out of battery, and works anywhere, anytime.
Staying sober is just the beginning
of what's possible.
This method opens a personal portal to unlimited possibilities.
By merging core desires with universal spiritual laws and truth, we unlock infinite possibilities.
This will look different based on each client's tailored plan.
For example, people usually come into recovery with ruptured relationships.
Some clients may need help practicing consistency while others may need help working through avoidance. Through our work together, we will leverage our coaching as a safe space to practice connection and develop real-world skills that you can start applying immediately to quickly upgrade your relationships.
For instance, if you’re anxious about answering the phone, we will practice with each other until answering calls feels natural again. If consistency in relationships is your challenge, we build that muscle through daily check-ins, structured support, and several other ways.
Every interaction becomes an opportunity for a corrective experience that helps rewire old patterns and replace them with new, healthy ones that light up your brain's reward system.
We begin with addressing your most pressing needs, then systematically build layers of strength and skills to create a solid foundation for sustainable sobriety and personal growth. The process is methodical but flexible, always adapting to where you are while keeping sight of where you want to go.
With consistent engagement in this process, you'll experience profound transformation as old wounds heal and new possibilities emerge.
This isn't just about staying sober – it's about becoming the person you were always meant to be.
Before I found Melissa, I was haunted with daily anxiety and so afraid of what people would think if they knew I didn’t drink. I was scared to use my name and the word sober in the same sentence!
I worried that I'd lose my friends, my social life, and my sense of identity. I worried I would be an outcast at work and that people would talk behind my back.
But what I realized is that by embracing sobriety, I gained so much more than I ever could have imagined. I have met some of the greatest people and built some of the most profound, authentic relationships with the foundation of sobriety. I've discovered new passions and purpose, and I've fallen in love with the woman I'm becoming.
Melissa gave me life tools to not only navigate sobriety, but also to ride the wave with the ups and downs of life.
She provided a judgment-free zone for me to heal and share things I never said aloud before. Melissa gave me the support to overcome my fears and create a life beyond my wildest dreams.
In just one year of working with Melissa, I went from debilitating daily anxiety to living with peace in the deepest levels of my soul. It sounds cheesy, but once you find that kind of peace, you never want to go back. On the rare occasion that my anxiety creeps in, I have the tools and the foundation to move through it gracefully.
Today, I wake up with gratitude, live fully, and make empowering decisions. I went from earning a middle of the road salary, to 6 figures in less than two years. I bought and decorated my first condo! I travel often and have fun doing things that I thought would be impossible without alcohol. This is just icing the cake. The best gifts are the sense of inner peace, purpose, and soul-level fulfillment I get every day I stay sober.
Thank you, Melissa, for helping me create a beautiful inner and outer world for myself.
Melissa’s passion for recovery is truly contagious and her unwavering support over the past several years has had a tremendous impact on my ability to live a life sober from drugs and alcohol. She is the human epitome of all the beautiful things that become possible when a person commits their life to sobriety, God, service and human connection.
My recovery journey has not been easy – I consistently challenged Melissa throughout our relationship and ultimately struggled to
believe that I was capable or worthy of happiness. I was deeply engulfed in
issues related to substance abuse and had zero ability to cope with life’s stressors in a healthy, productive way. I spent many years using drugs and alcohol to anesthetize and the idea of a life without substances was essentially incomprehensible.
Melissa’s influence and guidance has blessed my life in ways that I did not think were possible. She is a person who leads by example and was able to validate and relate to my experiences in a way that helped diffuse the shame and alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation. She has helped me come to believe that I matter, that I am worthy of love and happiness, and that God has a plan for my life.
Melissa’s commitment to my success in recovery has been transformational and words simply cannot express how grateful I am to be able to call her a friend and mentor.
Melissa has been an incredible influence in my life over the past decade. Her wisdom, experience, and dedication as a coach, mentor, and recovering alcoholic have made a profound impact on me.
Melissa provided invaluable guidance as I navigated the challenges of having an alcoholic daughter, who eventually sought treatment, embraced AA, and even went on to help others in similar situations.
Melissa also played a pivotal role in referring my ex—who I share a daughter with—to a rehabilitation center. This decision transformed his life, enabling him to embrace sobriety and become a more present and mindful father.
What continues to amaze me is Melissa’s unwavering commitment to her own sobriety and the countless individuals she has mentored along her journey.
Melissa's discipline, compassion, and dedication to honoring the recovery process are truly inspiring. I’m incredibly grateful for the positive changes she has helped bring into my life and the lives of so many others.
Alcohol was my closest, most intimate partner who was always there for me.
I had a good job, kept getting promotions, had an apartment, was financially self-sufficient, no arrests/DUI’s, etc. But I was stuck in this cycle of depression and anxiety that wasn’t getting any better or showing any signs of moving towards healing. Very slowly, I realized that I couldn’t keep going on like this. This realization me so f*****g angry.
During this time, Melissa was a safe person who I could be myself with. My angry, miserable, cynical self. I never once felt judged or like a project she was trying to “fix.” She was just there with me, supporting me, and helping me take steps towards a better, fuller life.
I’ve been sober for almost 10 years now, and I never could have imagined how full my life is now. I’m actually happy. I hadn’t known what that feels like. I’m not saying I don’t still struggle with depression/anxiety or that life is all rainbows and puppies..
Melissa has taught me how to weather all the sh*t and revel in the beauty. She’s helped me quiet the inner monologue that tells me that I don’t deserve anything good. She taught me how to use life tools that have transformed my inner monologue and given me peace of mind. She’s worked with me through trauma and deep wounds that fed my depression and anxiety. Her wisdom, guidance, and unconditional support have changed my life and I am forever grateful for her.
I was 15 when I was first introduced to alcohol. I tried cocaine at 16 and my drug use escalated to methamphetamine and a whole host of other substances. By the time I was 19, I was living in a trailer and associating with members of a known motorcycle gang. My “bottom” lowered faster than I could redefine it.
Following my 2nd treatment, I was keeping secrets and manipulating truths. I started believing that I was only “a drug addict” and that alcohol wasn’t my issue.
I met Melissa following a serious car accident. She was engaging, funny, kind and honest. When I got serious about wanting help, Melissa was my first call. She helped me navigate the next steps and start my new life in sobriety. She connected me to treatment services at Hazelden and helped me with my insurance. After detox and inpatient treatment, I asked Melissa for help. She agreed and I know without her, my sobriety and life would look much different. I firmly believe that God saved me, through her.
Melissa made me feel safe and accepted, and coached me on how to find the next “right thing” to do. She helped me align my words with my actions and morals!
Melissa helped me find a therapist and other specialists (a clinician that helped with my traumatic brain injury after the car accident), patiently listened and never gave up on me.
Two of the most important things that Melissa taught me were to show up even when I don’t want to and how to be honest. There is so much freedom in the truth. Living by example, she showed me how to be a woman of integrity and grace.
Today, I am a little over 6.5yrs sober. My life is full of the gifts of sobriety. Some of those gifts are external, but the most important ones are internal. I am no longer ashamed of who I am. My decisions are based on the woman I want to be and not the woman I was. I was blessed to have two of the most beautiful little girls. They’ve never experienced me on alcohol or drugs and because of sobriety I get to be the mom that they deserve.
Melissa is still very much a part of my life. She has walked alongside me through the best and worst days of my life in sobriety. Through it all, I have not had to take a drink based on the sober and spiritual foundation that was built while working with her.
I am endlessly grateful.

Recovery impacts the entire family system, and I understand the delicate balance between supporting loved ones while empowering client independence. My approach to family involvement is thoughtfully tailored to each client's unique situation, goals, and needs.
Core Components:
Emergency contact protocol through signed releases
Clear communication and boundaries that respect client privacy
Education and resources for family members
Some clients benefit from active family involvement, while others need space to develop independence in their recovery.
This determination is made collaboratively with each client, always prioritizing the client's recovery needs while acknowledging the vital role the family plays in long-term healing.
My role is to create a framework where families can support their loved one's recovery journey in healthy, constructive ways that promote growth rather than dependency. This balanced approach helps build sustainable recovery while preserving and often strengthening family bonds.
I believe in comprehensive care through strategic partnerships. Drawing on my decade of experience as both a clinician and national outreach representative, I maintain strong relationships with an extensive network of treatment providers, including:

Please Note: I maintain selective acceptance criteria to ensure I can provide the highest level of care to each client I serve.
A Recovery Coach is NOT a Therapist.
1. A coach does not provide diagnoses.
2. A coach will not deep dive into your mind to understand why you feel or act a certain way. A recovery coach helps you focus on what you can do right now to improve your situation.
3. A coach does not walk in front of you, they walk alongside you.
4. A coach will not ask you to process trauma (If they do, get a new coach! This is a job for a therapist).
5. Long-term therapy often aims to help you understand yourself better whereas recovery coaching has long-term benefits but focuses on immediate results and needs, such as taking guided action to stay sober, repairing relationships now, and finding the path forward today.
6. Therapists have strict boundaries related to self-disclosure. Recovery coaches often share their own experiences to help guide a client through a situation.
Other Key Differentiators
Past vs. Future
A coach looks at your present to help you create the future you desire, while a therapist looks at your past to help you manage your present. Clients who keep talking about the past may need healing and support from a therapist.
Diagnosis vs. Co-Creation
Therapists diagnose disorders and work with traumas and mental health, while in coaching, the solution is co-created between the coach and the coachee. The coach doesn't tell the client what to do but asks questions and facilitates their thinking process to maximize their strengths and resources.
Relationship: Patient vs. Equal
In therapy, the relationship is between doctor (or clinician) and the patient who needs to receive treatment. While in coaching, both client and coach are consider equal, there is no hierarchy.
Healing vs. Empowering
Therapy is focused on understanding the past and healing traumas. There will always be an element of learning from experiences, but coaching is focused on creating solutions and action plans to move forward now.
When to See a Coach
A coach could be beneficial if you have a goal, are open to developing new tools, and if you could benefit from accountability and support to reach your set goals and highest potential.
Professional vs Peer Support
RECOVERY COACH
Is a trained professional with certifications and formal education in coaching and addiction.
SPONSOR
Is a peer who shares their personal experience with AA's program and sobriety.
Scope, Focus & Approach to Recovery
RECOVERY COACH
Takes a holistic approach, working on the client's whole life including: creating a personalized recovery toolkit and supporting multiple pathways to recovery, using various evidence-based tools and strategies.
Uses skill-building, interpersonal relationship strengthening and healing, boundary work (saying no and protecting your peace without feeling guilty), conflict-resolution, spiritual exploration (discovering what gives you meaning and purpose in your life), and much more.
A recovery coach does NOT walk a client through the 12 steps of AA. If you have a recovery coach guiding you through the 12 steps in lieu of a sponsor, please consider getting a new coach.
SPONSOR
Specifically uses AA's approach and the 12-step program as a course of recovery (it's designed like this for a reason). A sponsor guides their sponsee through the 12 steps as they are outlined in the Big Book and shares their own personal experience along the way.
Structure & Boundaries
RECOVERY COACH
Maintains professional boundaries with scheduled sessions and clear objectives.
SPONSOR
More informal relationship, is a mentor, and may become like a close friend.
Payment and Structure
RECOVERY COACH
This is a professional service you invest in, with clear boundaries, scheduled sessions, and structured progress tracking.
SPONSOR
Is free. This is a mentor / volunteer position - they're giving back to the community as part of their own recovery.
What it Boils Down To...
RECOVERY COACH
A recovery coach takes a more collaborative approach. Rather than telling you what to do, a coach helps you uncover your own wisdom and solutions. A coach asks powerful questions that help you explore options and come to your own conclusions. Think of it like this: a sponsor is like a trail guide who's hiked one specific path and shows you exactly where to step.
A recovery coach is more like a skilled navigator who helps you read your own map and choose the best route for your unique journey. Coaches have expertise and tools to share, but believe you're the expert on your own life.
A coach's job is to help you tap into that expertise and find solutions that truly resonate with who you are. This is important because it helps you build confidence in your own decision-making and develop trust in your inner wisdom - skills that are crucial for long-term recovery.
SPONSOR
Typically shares suggestions based on their personal experience in AA and based on the Big Book - "This is what worked for me, so I would suggest a similar route for you." They also might say, "Here's how I worked Step 4" or "When I was drinking, I did XYZ" or "The suggestions in the Big Book are XYZ."
Confidentiality is of utmost importance in coaching. As a coach, I adhere to strict ethical guidelines that prioritize client confidentiality.
All information shared during coaching sessions will remain strictly confidential, unless otherwise required by law or with the client's explicit consent.
As a coach, I offer highly individualized one-on-one coaching sessions virtually or in person to support individuals in various areas of their lives, including recovery coaching, personal empowerment, professional elevation, spiritual and energy coaching, and interpersonal relationship strengthening.
Frequency of coaching sessions and a person's tailored plan are customized to align with the individual’s needs, goals, and availability.
To make steady progress, weekly sessions with an additional midweek check-in is recommended. If the client requests or needs additional sessions, I offer the option to purchase a package of individual sessions that can be used any time. This is ancillary to the monthly service package.
My coaching approach is client-centered, strength-based, and focused on empowering individuals to get clear on what they want.
I encourage the client to take guided action rooted in their values and spiritual connection so they create results they love.
I use a connection-based coaching model that’s high touch and provides daily support, guidance, and access.
I utilize a combination of active listening, powerful questioning, and various other coaching techniques to guide clients on their unique journey.
The duration of a coaching program varies depending on the client's goals and the complexity of their objectives and needs.
Typically, coaching programs range from three to six months, allowing sufficient time for meaningful progress and sustainable transformation.
Prior to starting into a session, we will schedule a discovery call, click on one of the links on my site to schedule a call or email me at: [email protected]
These are 10-minute screening calls to explore if coaching could be effective for you. If the answer is yes, we'll book a pre-coaching assessment that will determine if we move forward.
Please Note:
I do not work with all clients. The pre-coaching assessment will determine if we are a good fit for each other. I work in the best interest of the client.
If I feel there is a better service, coach, or program for you, I will provide referrals that will better suit your needs.

My goal is to help you commit to yourself, put your recovery first, and create a long-term plan that will help you succeed in reaching your highest goals.
It’s a process that takes time, commitment, and dedication. A monthly package is the most effective way to help you invest in yourself and in a long-term recovery plan.

I use a connection-based coaching model that makes accountability fun and creative!
I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise.
If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, kindly provide at least 24 hours’ notice to avoid any charges.
I am committed to being flexible and accommodating whenever possible.
Frequency of coaching sessions are customized to align with the individual’s needs, goals, and availability. In earlier stages of recovery, typically bi-weekly sessions will be recommended followed by once per week after the client is on solid ground.

The duration of a coaching program varies depending on the client's goals and the complexity of their objectives and needs.
Typically, coaching programs range from three to six months, allowing sufficient time for meaningful progress and sustainable transformation.
I help you take action until it becomes your new normal. Then, we work on your next gaol, and so on.
For example: If 12-step is your thing but you’re struggling to get to meetings...We’ll structure your coaching session at a location convenient for you and pair it with an AA meeting afterwards. I walk my clients into the meeting so they feel comfortable and supported(I do not stay for the meeting to keep boundaries clear).
Or maybe you keep delaying an appointment that you really need to make. No worries! We'll do it together. If it's a stressful appointment and you want support, I'm there with you.
We set up your recovery to work FOR you.
